About Us
Ottoman Musk provide premium fragrances inspired by the rich history and culture of the Ottoman period. Our fragrances are best described as fragrances from Anatolia intertwined with Arabian scents.
Musk has been used in perfumery for centuries and known for its warm, sensual, and long-lasting scent. Ottoman Musk fragrances often combine traditional musk notes with exotic spices, woods, and resins to create a unique and luxurious scent that evokes the opulence and elegance of the Ottoman era.
Oud, is extracted from the agar tree after it is infected by phialophora parasitica, more commonly known as a type of mould. The extracted sap type solution from the tree produces a heavy and dark aroma. The resin within the tree, is what we know as oud. Industries have many uses for the element produced here, the most well-known of these are Perfume and Incense. The use of Oud is documented in ancient cultures, and still used in today’s cultures as well as religious settings.
Both Oud and Musk have gained popularity for how long these scents last, compared to more widely-known fragrances we are familiar with today.
Ottoman Musk’s fragrances may also incorporate other ingredients such as oud, amber, rose, and sandalwood to add depth and complexity to the scent profile. Ottoman Musk perfumes are typically rich, bold, and sophisticated, making them a popular choice for those who appreciate luxurious and extravagant aromas.
Ottoman Musk fragrances are a tribute to the grandeur and magnificence of the Ottoman period, capturing the essence of a bygone era in a bottle of perfume.
